Alpha Version of OpenMSC Released

I am delighted to announce that an alpha version of the OpenMSC emulator is available on Google Code licensed under GPLv3.


The current implementation of the emulator allows to:

• Using mscgen input file with extended syntax convention to set up OpenMSC
• Using OpenMSC configuration file to set up number of UEs, BSs and the cycle time
• Generating numerical stream of EventIDs following the Success use-case only
• Various arguments available, e.g., debug level, TCP or UDP over IPv4 or IP & port number
• Doxygen comments and Doxygen configuration file to generate documentation locally

Despite the effort in programming the alpha version, there is certainly a great deal of features missing including a comprehensive Wiki documentation.
